This Privacy Policy explains how Dozi (“Dozi”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, free calculators, AI chat, guides, and related services (together, the “Services”).

We comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and follow globally accepted privacy practices. By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Account information — name, email address, phone number, and any profile details you choose to provide when you sign up or contact support.

Tool inputs — the values you enter into calculators (loan amount, property value, city, rent, construction parameters, and similar inputs). These are primarily processed in your browser; server-side storage happens only when you explicitly save, share, or request a result.

AI chat and Vastu checker inputs — the questions, layout descriptions, and follow-ups you send to our AI features. We retain transcripts linked to your account to maintain conversation context and improve response quality.

Usage and technical data — pages viewed, features used, device type, browser, IP address, approximate location (derived from IP), and timestamps. This is collected through standard web logs and analytics.

Cookies and similar technologies — essential cookies for authentication and session continuity, and analytics cookies to understand how the product is used. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

We use the information described above to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including calculator results and AI responses.
• Remember your conversation history so follow-up questions stay in context.
• Improve accuracy, usability, and relevance of our tools, guides, and AI features.
• Respond to support requests and send service-related communications.
• Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not use your personal data to train third-party foundation models. AI requests are sent to model providers under contractual data-handling restrictions (see Section 5).

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these scenarios:

• Service providers — hosting, email delivery, analytics, and AI model providers that help us run the Services. These providers are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations and may only use the data to provide services to us.
• AI model providers — when you use AI chat or the Vastu checker, your prompts are sent to our model provider(s) to generate a response. We select providers that commit not to use the content to train their public models.
• Legal and safety — when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Dozi, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to notice and equivalent protections.

We retain personal data only for as long as needed to provide the Services and for the legitimate business and legal purposes described in this policy.

• Account data is retained while your account is active.
• AI conversation history is retained to maintain context and is linked to your account.
• Technical logs are typically retained for up to twelve months.
• If you delete your account, we remove or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion or erasure of your data.
• Withdraw consent previously given (this will not affect past processing).
• Nominate another individual to exercise rights on your behalf in specified circumstances.
• Lodge a grievance with our Grievance Officer (see Section 13).
